We both grew up in the Chicago suburbs, going to the same temple in Aurora and even knowing some of the same people. But we didn't meet until we were both post-college, living in California.

Our first date was a picnic in Yerba Buena Park on August 1st, 2021, with clementines and Oreos. Exactly four years later, we got engaged and now call New York our home.
