We both grew up in the Chicago suburbs — going to the same temple in Aurora and even knowing some of the same people. But we didn't meet until we were both post-college, living in San Francisco.

Our first date was on August 1st, 2021 — a picnic in Yerba Buena Park where we ate clementines and Oreos. Exactly four years later, we got engaged. We now live in New York, spending our free time watching One Piece and hangout-maxing with friends.
